Surrealism Inspired Fish

Final Major Project Exhibition

This is the exhibition to mark the end of my two year Graphic Design course and the final major project.

My idea was to create a film premier style display, which would include red curtains and carpet, a silhouette audience, gold barriers around the red carpet and my poster design in place on the wall to resemble a cinema screen.

The Titanic poster was my main piece of work, with the display just there to create a little interest. I also added my Hansel and Gretel cutout on the blank board next to mine.

Minimalist Titanic Poster

This is my minimalist Titanic poster recreation which was produced for the use in my exhibition at the end of the final major project at college.

It was inspired by the work of Emma Butler, who produced a set of minimalist posters, which only included the most memorable props and items from that film.

Movie Quotes

Various famous quotes from different well known movies. This was part of the development work for my final major project which I based on movies and there posters.

Daily Deviation

When I visited deviantART art earlier today I was not prepared for what I would find; so many new messages and so many favourites, most on one piece of work too. At first I was very confused like how could this happen, but I soon realized my hands alphabet photo had been added to the websites Daily Deviations page.

This is the first day I have actually felt like uploading work to the internet was actually worth doing. Previously I was getting one or two people looking at my work. So when I visited this morning you can imagine how surprised I was and the feedback messages haven't stopped rising since.

This has made me so proud, I feel like I must upload more work now to compete with it.
Anyway thank you so much ChewedKandi for featuring Hand Alphabet in Daily Deviations today, and thank you everyone for all the favourites, comments and new watchers I have received.

Wall Frames

The first stage of the re-decorating of my room. Paper photo frames cut out from a newspaper, stuck onto my wall. 

I will upload more photos when these frames are filled and continuously as I complete other bits and pieces.

Hands Alphabet

The alphabet created by painting the letters on my hands while trying to produce the correct shape.

Now On YouTube

Today I have decided to create a new YouTube account where I can upload real videos and clips that I produce. My old account was full of rubbish, some that I "borrowed" from other people, this new account will have nothing of that kind.
Currently I have not yet uploaded anything, but in the coming weeks I will make it my goal to do so.

Artists Movements Timeline

Here is the timeline I produced for my most recent college project about the artists and movements of the past 150 years, which relate to graphic design.
I designed it to be a very graphic piece of work, and that is why it is almost entirely produced in Photoshop. This  was for my final piece and has been printed out on A1 paper; of course it looks better large in its full glory.
